Direct admission allows students to start taking UNCG credit classes upon enrollment.
Conditional admission allows students to study in an on-campus ESL program, which provides beginning to advance levels (levels 1-5) of English language study.
Students will be placed into the appropriate level during orientation, and will be allowed to start their credit classes after completing level 5 with satisfactory performance and meeting all other exit criteria.
Graduate Programs Requirements
Conditional admission allows students to study in an on-campus ESL program, which provides levels 1 to 5 of English language study, instead of submitting a qualifying TOEFL or IELTS score. Students will be placed into the appropriate level during orientation, and will be able to start their graduate classes after completing level 5 and meeting all other exit criteria, which may include providing a qualifying GRE/GMAT score.
