Our coaches server as a single point of contact with students and help them transition from surviving to thriving. They are a trusted friend, a trouble shooter, a university navigator, a language resource, a cultural mediator - providing support and fostering personal development needed to create meaning from college experiences.
Personalized Advising:
Students can address potential issues with New Mind advisors on a one-to-one basis before they become emergencies. By tapping into a network of campus and community support, they are empowered to successfully navigate the roller-coaster of cultural and academic transition to the American higher education system, gain independence, and achieve their personal goals.
Career Development:
We understand international students are interested in career certainty. We help them focus of personalized career assessment, review their strengths and associated career possibilities, while helping to correlate potential careers with majors. We can even help with transfer support and access to selective internship opportunities.
