Experiencing Willmington, NC

Studying in a new country is hard, complex, and exhausting. A recent spring break trip to Wilmington, NC provided some mid-semester fun into the daily grind of hard work.

Students experienced a small taste of a US college tradition, beach week! While the chilly weather didn’t fully cooperate, there was still time for shell collecting, beach games of corn hole, a trip to the aquarium, local shopping, and dining on copious amounts of fresh seafood. Oh, and they got to catch up on sleep, too.

As one student said, “I used my binoculars at the beach to see people swimming and surfing. I took a lot of pictures of animals and birds. Sometimes having peace is a good thing.”

What a great way to go back to school for the final push of the semester!
